PADDINGTON PUPS DOG DAYCARE MURAL

Paddington Pups Artwork

When repeat client Bree, owner of Paddington Pups Dog Day Care Centre called, she wanted to continue the theme of “the great outdoors” dog play area, which we painted back in 2015.

The brief was for the theme to continue, but the artwork to evolve. The area was completely visible to all their customers, so it needed to look the best it could. It also had to incorporate some existing artificial foliage, which added a nice touch to the artwork’s image.

With a lot less wall space to cover and the area being a lot smaller than the dogs general play area, the artwork needed to be planned out properly, with every inch of space to be utilised.

After a few sketched ideas and a week of late nights, the store was proudly sporting a newly decorated puppy-pick-up and reception area, to impress customers and keep the humans who work there from getting cabin fever.

All artwork was installed after hours to ensure the installation wouldn’t hamper the business’ trading hours, and all care was taken to ensure the areas’s were safe for the next day.

SCHOOL MURAL ART

St John’s College, UQ Party Room

Street Art Studios was contacted by the President of St. John’s College Student Club, University of Queensland, St. Lucia Campus, who wanted to create a more friendly and uplifting area for their party room. A place were they can let their hair down, have a few drinks and unwind after one of the many activities they partake in during their student life.

The idea was to totally cover their walls in the activities and sports they enjoy and participate in under the banner of the St. John’s College Crest. As per standard practice, they were asked to provide a list of the key sports, activities and events they enjoyed for the design phase.

Once approved, the artwork installation begun and after 7 days they were happily enjoying their first celebration surrounded by the newly decorated walls of their on-campus party room.

Burwood East Primary School

When Principal Darren McDonald, from Burwood East Primary School in Melbourne, contacted the Street Art Studios team, the school was going through some building upgrade works. They were interested in changing the look and feel of the school, but mostly wanted to revamp a couple of tired, old demountable buildings.

Before

The decision was to create artworks inspired by each building’s specific subject – Science and Performing Arts. The students’ own drawings of what these subjects mean to them were to be incorporated, so it meant that the artwork remained as much their creation as it was Sheeps’, the artist.

After

Within a two week period we were able to transform the tired looking demountable buildings into vibrant and inviting classrooms, certain to inspire the students within.

Uber Australia’s Brisbane Landmark Mural

When collecting a lost phone from the Uber Rideshare offices in Brisbane, Sheeps was underwhelmed by their office fit-out.
He noticed it was bland, lifeless and dull, and a complete contrast to the dynamic and exciting new transportation and employment opportunities that this fresh thinking company had to offer.

Jackie & Peter’s Childrens’ Rooms

Jackie and Peter contacted us to find out if Street Art Studios was able to paint their kids’ rooms, located in Packenham, Victoria.

After a quick discussion regarding the desired artwork – their kids loved cars – Sheeps confirmed availability and price for the two bedroom murals in their newly purchased home.

The murals were completed within three days, with all necessary taping, protective sheeting, clean up and rubbish removal included, to ensure the newly laid carpets were not painted and remained as they were before Street Art Studios’ arrival.

The Star Hotel, South Melbourne

Street Art Studios were contacted by Visual Builders, who were interested to find out if we could help the with their idea of creating an outdoor pub, indoors.

With the help of Sheeps and the team, the decision was to create a panoramic image of the Melbourne City skyline at night on the inner walls of the pub.

Completed during a total renovation of the existing tenancy, the project was not without its complications, but being client driven and focused, Street Art Studios was able to produce the work within the required deadline and to tackle every challenge head on.

The work now adorns the walls of this unique and interesting pub located on Clarendon Street, and will continue to stand testament to the work which can be produced when a client is confident in Street Art Studios ability and artistic direction.

Schweppes Australia Bottling Plant

Schweppes Australia contacted Street Art Studios for an installation to their bottling plant. The idea was to recreate a 5m x 2m statue inside their plant for their staff, symbolic of their recent team building retreat.

After a quick induction, the installation was completed, without any interference to their operations. It now proudly sits above the employee sign in station, for them to enjoy each day.

KIDS BEDROOM MURALS

JACK’S AC/DC ROCK MURAL

When Jack’s old man contacted Sheeps, he was in the process of renovating his eldest son’s bedroom and wanted to know if it were possible to paint an AC/DC themed mural, complete with the iconic Angus rocking the wall to life.

They came up with a plan to have the band’s name smashing through the wall with an actual guitar bolted to it, to really make the piece pop.

Angus and the mural were completed over a weekend. Topped off with an installation of a stage light, Jack’s room is definitely the place to go wild.
