When Julian, the funkadelic owner of Open Book Cafe, contacted Sheeps from Street Art Studios, he was wanting to use his love of good, classic, chunky funk music as inspiration for a mural on a wall that was screaming for attention.

Within a few days, the two met at his newly purchased store to discuss the types of artwork that he wanted to have installed. They swiftly reached an agreed price and installation date.

JACK’S AC/DC ROCK MURAL

When Jack’s old man contacted Sheeps, he was in the process of renovating his eldest son’s bedroom and wanted to know if it were possible to paint an AC/DC themed mural, complete with the iconic Angus rocking the wall to life.

They came up with a plan to have the band’s name smashing through the wall with an actual guitar bolted to it, to really make the piece pop.

Angus and the mural were completed over a weekend. Topped off with an installation of a stage light, Jack’s room is definitely the place to go wild.

When the parents of six year olds, Jordan and Jacob, got in touch with the professional team at Street Art Studios, they were interested in getting Jordan’s room painted in a superhero theme, with his two favourite Marvel characters The Hulk and Wolverine surrounding his name on his bedroom wall.
